These teeth strips are easy to apply and claim to both whiten your teeth and remineralize them. Application is easy with no messiness and they adhere well once applied. After the first week, my teeth were a tad bit whiter, not too noticeable, but I have another week of use and I’m hoping for the best. If you’re looking for a convenient, inexpensive at-home treatment, these are a decent choice, however, I don’t feel that my teeth got as white as I was hoping.
They arrived fast and I like that so far it does not seem to give you any gum or teeth sensitivity, but that's probably because of the coconut. My husband says they stick to your teeth really good, so that's a plus. I'm not quite sure about the whitening part yet, it's gonna take a bit more uses to see, I guess. It doesn't have a nasty taste either and teeth feel fresh after.
The title of this review says it all & causes a wave of emotions for me. When I was in my teens I was struggling from body dysmorphia. Had gone through a phase of tweezing my eye brows to where I barely had any left but the mirror told a different story because despite plucking nearly all of them out, I was still seeing bushy eyebrows. I’ve also suffered from Obsessive Compulsive Disorder for as long as I can remember so there was that tendency to overdo EVERYTHING. That’s exactly what happened with Crest Whitening Strips. When I was 15-16+ I was abusing them. Leaving them on much longer than they’re intended to be used for & even brushing afterwards which was probably the worst thing one could do. Little did I know the damage I was doing. That peroxide that’s used in the Crest Whitening Strips, don’t let your dentist downplay it & say oh that’s completely safe, it’s what we use here in the office, just a weaker kind. It still can be detrimental to your enamel when using it for long periods of time. When I tell you that my two front teeth were so translucent that I could see my tongue through them when I’d place my tongue behind my teeth, that’s what I mean. It wasn’t until YEARS later probably 13 years when I discovered hydroxyapatite that my teeth began almost reversing that translucency. Eventually paired it with xylitol & truly began seeing a difference. Up until now, I’ve had no way to whiten my teeth because I’ve been so scared of the hydrogen peroxide. Thank goodness for the one who created these whitening strips!! Minimal yet safe ingredients!!!!
Enamel friendly formula provides a whiter smile and freshens breath. More gentle then peroxide whiteners but still have to be careful with it touching your gums.
